Multiple iNotes issues

Hi!

We are using IBM Domino 9.0.1 x64 on Windows 2k8 R2. The environment contains a Domino cluster of two servers, a BES5, a Traveler and a BES10 Server with about 2000 users. Most of the users are using iNotes on Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit. The standard Browser is IE with versions from 8 to 11. There are no special Windows group policies set. The users are mainly power users in Windows.

The main problems are:

- File uploads to iNotes: While uploading files with IE the following error is displayed, after about 60 percent, to the user. The error is reproducible with diffrent versions of IE. This problem mainly occurs, when the file is opened, for example in a viewer. When uploading the same file with Firefox or Chrome it works.

- File uploads to iNotes: When uploading multiple files to iNotes, in some cases the attachements are multiplied with a filename in the style of "attxxx". The result is, you are not sending just one or two attachements, your are sending 5 or 6!

- ActiveX element for IE: Using Windows 7 32-Bit, a few users get error messages regarding the dwabho.dll and crashing explorer.exe. What I tried so far:

- Reinstalling the plugin

- Using the plugin from HF32

- View attachements: Some of the users are not able to view attachements with power user rights. With administrative rights in Windows everything works fine

Probably someone can give me some hints to solve these issues. Let me know if more informations are needed.

Thank you!

Some news

Hi!

I did some more testing and was able to reproduce the upload error. Probably any other of you is able to confirm this issue. What I did:

- Open a new mail in iNotes

- Put in the receipient

- Upload some files via drag&drop from the Windows explorer window (I tried it with some pdf files with sizes between 1 to 2.5 mbs)

- Press "send"

-> Upoad stuck or IE crashed

BUT: It worked for me in this way:

- Open a new mail in iNotes

- Upload some files via drag&drop from the Windows explorer window (I tried it with some pdf files with sizes between 1 to 2.5 mbs)

- Put in the receipient

- Press "send"

Thanks for any response!

Chris
